Paul started Atlantic Outboard in 1988 as a service shop repairing Johnson Outboards
30 years later, we have grown into one of the largest boast dealerships in New England and are ranked nationally for sales and service.
Paul is a very hands on owner and puts customer service at the forefront of his business.
Paul’s wife, Tasha, runs the day to day operations at Westbrook Marine Center.
Tasha sits on the Executive Board of Directors for Connecticut Marine Trades Associations.
Evan graduated in 2015 from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Business Management and a B.A. in Political Science.
For the last several years, Evan has received the “Club Elite” award from Pursuit Boats and was ranked the #1 salesperson for Robalo Boat in the Northeast Region in 2017.
Capt. Chris Landry has spent his life on and around the waters of Long Island Sound. His passion for fishing lead him to pursue a career in the charter fishing industry. Chris worked as a deck hand on the charter vessel Dot-E-Dee and eventually working his way up to getting his Captains License in 2006.
After 10 years working full time on the boat, Chris was looking for a different path. Chris began working in Boat Sales for Atlantic Outboard in 2015. Chris uses knowledge for the water and his passion for fishing to help customers enhance their total boating experience.
Gina Trasacco joined the Atlantic Outboard team in January 2017 after pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University. Gina works directly with the sales team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable buying experience for all of our customers. Gina also works one on one with our service department to keep record of all warranty claims.
Captain Dean Artkop
Dean is a resident of Westbrook, CT and has been around boats all of his life. He got his first boat as a gift from his grandparents at a very young age and has been hooked ever since. He keeps his boat at Westbrook Marine Center and enjoys fishing and boating in Long Island Sound. He also enjoys helping prospective boat owners make the best decision when purchasing their new boat.
Janet joined the Atlantic Outboard team in February 2021. Janet designed and developed the websites AtlanticOutboard.com, PortlandBoatWorks.com and HarborOneMarina.com. Janet also films and produces the videos for the Atlantic Outboard Youtube channel.
Paul “Junior” Fiore
Paul “Junior” Fiore has been a long time family friend and member of the Atlantic Outboard team. He started working on boats and motors at Atlantic Outboard since the young age of 19. Now 18 years later he is the team’s Service Manager. With vast knowledge of outboard motors, boat systems, and the morals that represent our service philosophy, Junior sets the bar high and strives to exceed your expectations on a daily basis.
Growing up on Shippan Point in a beach community in Stamford, CT, Jim hasn’t strayed far from the water. A lifelong boater, Jim decided to make a career change into the marine service industry in 1995 and never looked back. He enjoys all boating-related activities and checks off all the boxes when vacationing yearly on Money Island in the Thimbles. Knowledge of numerous boat & engine manufacturers’ products, coupled with a commitment to professional, honest and timely customer service to all our boat owners is a responsibility Jim strives to maintain and provide daily.
An avid fisherman, Steve joined the Atlantic Outboard crew in 2014. In the summertime, Steve spends nearly all his free time fishing the waters of Long Island Sound and Montauk Point.
Mark began working in the yard washing boats, bottom painting, etc. at Atlantic Outboard in 2018. He recently began working in parts and is quickly learning the ropes of our inventory, and outboard motors. Mark is a great member of our team and is always prepared to get you the parts you need when you need them.
Capt. Dan Wood
As a member of Atlantic Outboard Pro Staffs, Dan is currently running Robalo’s flagship 2021 R302 powered with twin Yamaha 300s.
While receiving his degrees at the University of Alaska, Capt. Dan Wood received his U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License in 1980, and currently holds a 100 Ton Master’s License. As the owner/operator of Connecticut Woods and Water Guide Service, Dan brings with him over 40 years of in-depth knowledge of the local waters. He is one of the only full-time guides in the Northeast, guiding saltwater fly and light tackle fishing trips during the spring, summer and fall.
In 2006 and 2007 Dan participated in the FLW Striper Series where he had numerous top 5 finishes, placing 4th in the 2006 National Championship Tournament.
Blue is a 4 year old Black Lab and can be seen frequently walking the docks at Westbrook Marine Center. He loves the boat and is a fan favorite for all who visit.
