More than 300 boats and 1,000 people attended the Duck Island Raft Party on August 7th, 2021 which included live music and giveaways.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Friends of Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge!
As always thank you to the Westbrook, CT Police Department and Westbrook, CT Fire Department for helping out and for making sure everyone was safe during the event.

Atlantic Outboard proudly presented $5,050 to the Friends of Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge on August 11, 2021. Shaun Roche accepted the donation on the Friends behalf. Over $2,500 was raised, and Atlantic Outboard matched the amount to bring the total donation to over $5,000!
The McKinney National Wildlife Refuge is vital to protecting and preserving the habitats, like Duck Island, that our wildlife, including many endangered species, need to survive.
**Reminder: Duck Island as well as Menunketesuck Island are closed to the public. There are many bird species that call the islands their homes and we need to be respectful of the Birds and their young**
