Fishing is starting to get strong on the Sound! Cloudy conditions with low pressure really turned the bite on Monday. Most of my fishing is light tackle in search of Striped Bass. So far, the fish have been hitting the 7” Hoggy soft bait, every color.
I’ve been primarily in the Eastern Sound and have been watching rip lines and seeing some bird activity.
Have not had a lot of Bluefish activity yet, but with the rising water temperature I suspect they’ll start showing up in real numbers over the next few weeks.
Fishing should just continue to get better and I’ll be back next week to report back on how the fishing shapes up.
